Technique of career testFree career testQuestionary of professional preparednessThis technique allows diagnosing subjective state of a person, meaning person's desire to take part in this particular professional activity.This questionary is based upon person's self-assessment of their likes and abilities. Preparedness is an active state of a person reflecting the essence of the problem a person is facing and conditions for its solving that represent conditions for successful performance of any activity. According to the author's opinion the degree of preparedness for successful functioning within a certain sphere can be judged based on the presence, successfulness of realization and emotional reinforcement of vocationally oriented abilities and skills in trainees. Assessment of the following items make the basis of the questionary: Sufficient evidence of these components is an indicator of high level of person's preparedness, his/her activity, independence in the process of activity. Measurable Parameters Ability - The scale assesses actual abilities of an individual Attitude - The scale assesses attitude of an individual towards one or another activity type. Professional preferences questionary (modification of Holland's test)Each person with his/her personal qualities is best suitable for a certain type of occupation. This Holland's test modification, based on correlation of types of professions and individual peculiarities of a person, is designed to help choose a profession primarily depending on personal peculiarities.Differential-diagnostic questionaryThis technique is intended for selection of different types of professions in accordance with the classification of profession types offered by E. A. Klimov. Applicable for vocational guidance with both teenagers and adults as well.Contents of the technique: subject under test shall select only one type out of each of 20 pairs of offered activity types. Names of professions in columns: Research time is unlimited. Though the subject under test should be advised not to think about the questions too long and should be informed that it usually takes about 20-30 minutes to complete the test. This technique can be used both individually and in groups. Experimenter can read the questions to the group of people being tested, but in this case time for answer is limited. Such method is used when the experimenter has to work within limited time period. |
